Yes this is a GTO with a Superbird wing...Don't freak out..
The owner is also a Formula Spec Ford racer and a cool dude. He and his friend pulled it out of a North Carolina Field 2 years ago in pretty good shape. He wanted a Superbird, found this goat, there you go. So far he's ran here(The Glen), Pocono and a Hill climb race, more than most with Either GM or Mopar muscle can say. Crossdressing is OK sometime..
If you're still offended here's a palate cleanser.
Clouds rise above Seneca Lake and roll through the valley from our vantage at an early morning SCCA qualifier at The Glen..

Strangely I'm okay with this.

That wing seems really shallow for how high it is. Wouldn't it be better if it was a little longer, with more attack? Seems half-baked, but maybe he knows what he's doing.

First, that's NOT a Superbird wing, it's a homemade wing that looks something like a Superbird/Charger Daytona wing.
Second, a pallet is a wood platform that you attach heavy things to to make shipping easier. A palette is a thin piece of wood on which an artist lays and mixes colors.
The word you want is palate.

I would have to agree, and it did look like it has suffered some warping but he reinforced it with carbon fiber so I dunno I'm just peachy taking it with a grain of his sarcastic humor part. It did look (and sound) great bombing down the front straight with a couple vintage porches, some other Trans Am metal and other random things in his class. I'll always appreciate something I've never seen before...Although there was a new Corvette Stingray casually parked next to one racer's trailer as about the only car I didn't take a picture of that weekend.
